In keeping with its tradition of maintaining a cordial relationship with its host community, the Nigerian Army Ordinance Corps (NAOC) on Monday carry out environmental sanitation at Ojuelegba under the bridge, Surulere, Lagos.
The exercise which started early in the morning caught the attention of residents of Lagos as they watched Military personnel keeping the environment clean.
The Corps Commander, Nigerian Army Ordinance Corps, Major General Adeyemi Alabi, who personally monitored the sanitation exercise said it was part of programmes lined up ahead of the reunion scheduled for Tuesday and the Pulling out ceremony held on Wednesday at the Parade ground, NAOC Albati Barracks Ojuelegba.
The Commander was accompanied to the sanitation ground by senior officers who joined to ensure that everywhere was cleaned and all debris carried away by Lagos State Waste Management Agency (LAWMA) whose officials were on the ground to give their support.
Also, officials of the Federal Road Safety Corps were also available to control traffic and ensure human safety.
