
…HOLDS INTERDENOMINATIONAL CHURCH SERVICE AT OJO
Nigerian Navy, on Sunday, 25th May, 2025, held a commemorative Interdenominational Church Service as part of the its 69th anniversary celebration with a resolve to address national security challenges.
The service held at Our Lady Star of The Sea Catholic Church, Navy Town, Ojo, Lagos State, brought together Naval personnel, Senior Officers, families and invited guests in a spirit of unity and thanksgiving.
In his remarks, the Chief of the Naval Staff (CNS), Vice Admiral Emmanuel Ikechukwu Ogalla reaffirmed his commitment to enhancing capacity building through training, acquisition of modern platforms, and improved welfare for Naval personnel.

He appreciated the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Nigeria, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his unwavering support to the Nigerian Navy.
During the church service, personnel danced and sang while lavishly praising, worshipping God for another year’s anniversary of the force.
However, special prayers for the continued success and safety of naval personnel in service to the nation was offered.
The commemorative service also served as a moment of reflection on the Navy’s journey, achievements, and future outlook.
