Several years after being redeployed as the Lagos Sector Commander, Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC), Assistant Corps Marshal Jonas Agwu has been appointed as the spokesperson of the commission.
His redeployment announced on Tuesday in Abuja, is with effect from 15th January, 2024, which also marks the end of the ongoing Operation Zero Tolerance Special Patrol.
ACM Jonas Agwu, formerly in charge of Command Administration and Strategies is now the new spokesman of FRSC and Corps Public Education.
According to the Commission, this redeployment is a bold move to strengthen the operations of the Federal Road Safety Corps.
Also affected according to Corps Marshal Dauda Ali Biu are two Deputy Corps Marshal. The redeployed senior officers, Deputy Corps Marshal (DCM) Shehu Alkali Zaki who was formerly in charge of Training Department is to henceforth oversee the affairs of the Department of Operations, while the former Corps Public Education Officer, Deputy Corps Marshal Bisi Kazeem is to proceed as the DCM in charge of Training Department at the National Headquarters, Abuja.
The Corps Marshal expressed confidence in the capacity and experiences of the newly redeployed senior officers to deliver on mandate as he charged them to bring their professional expertise for impactful leadership.
