The Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil, has successfully concluded the screening exercise for admission into its 12th Regular Course. The screening, which commenced on October 6, 2025, was formally brought to a close on October 15, 2025.

The process was carried out under the supervision of officials from the Ministry of Police Affairs and the Police Service Commission, with active participation from all relevant stakeholders to ensure a credible and transparent exercise.

Speaking on the completion of the screening, the Commandant of the Academy, Assistant Inspector General of Police Patrick A. Atayero, MSc (UK), MBA (USA), psc, reaffirmed the institution’s commitment to integrity and merit-based selection.

He emphasized that admission into the Academy is not for sale, warning applicants against engaging with individuals demanding money for placement.

“Admission into the Nigeria Police Academy is strictly based on merit. The process is free of charge, and any attempt to compromise it will not be tolerated,” AIG Atayero stated.
