NITDA DG JOINS NIGERIAN DELEGATION

The Director General of the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi, joined the Nigerian High-Level Delegation led by the Honourable Minister of Youth Development, Ayodele Olawande, on a strategic visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

As part of the visit, the delegation held a high-level meeting with H.E. Dr. Sultan AlNeyadi, UAE Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Chief of Staff to the Prime Minister. Discussions focused on forging partnerships in education, digital skills, youth exchange programmes, and entrepreneurship—critical areas aligned with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, particularly its priority of reforming the economy for sustained and inclusive growth.

The delegation also engaged with the leadership of Dubai Cares, exploring opportunities to expand impactful collaborations aimed at improving opportunities for young Nigerians.

The day’s engagements concluded with a strong shared commitment from both sides to translate these discussions into tangible outcomes that will empower Nigeria’s next generation and strengthen global partnerships for inclusive development.
