
The Director General of the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), Kashifu Inuwa CCIE, today inaugurated the Local Organising Committee (LOC) for the 18th International Conference on Theory and Practice of Electronic Governance (ICEGOV 2025), slated to hold in Abuja from November 4 to 7, 2025.
Inuwa, who was represented by Mr. Jide Ajayi, said the conference, themed “Shaping the Future of Digital Governance through Cooperation, Innovation, and Inclusion,” will convene leading voices from academia, government, and the private sector to deliberate on the future of digital governance.
ICEGOV 2025 is being jointly organised by NITDA and the United Nations University Operating Unit on Policy-Driven Electronic Governance (UNU-EGOV), under the patronage of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, and the supervision of the Federal Ministry of Communications, Innovation, and Digital Economy (FMCIDE).
The conference is expected to serve as a global platform for advancing Nigeria’s digital governance agenda while promoting cooperation, knowledge sharing, and inclusive innovation.
