The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Anambra State Command has expressed its desire to continue to support the operations of the Public Complaint Commission.
This was disclosed on Wednesday, October 19, 2022, when the Commandant of NSCDC, Anambra State Command, Mr. Isidore Chukwudi Chikere, received in audience, Federal Commissioner Public Complaint Commission, Anambra State, Hon. Emelda Nwajiofor-Okoli, together with other Senior Management staff of the Commission on a visit to the State Command Headquarters Awka.
Comdt Isidore, in a statement by the NSCDC Public Relations Officer, DSC Okadigbo Edwin, appreciated the Honourable Federal Commissioner PCC Anambra State and her team for the visit pledging to assist the Commission in actualizing its mandate in the state.
He acknowledged the important role of the PCC and assured the Commission of NSCDC support and partnership in any area of their request.
Earlier, the Honourable Federal Commissioner, PCC, Hon. Emelda informed the State Commandant that the Commission is a grievance-handling body insulated from politics that plays the role of a watchman in receiving Complaints from the aggrieved person(s) who had suffered any form of administrative injustice.
Hon. Emelda said her visit was to familiarize, acquaint and seek more synergy among the two federal government agencies and by extension, the larger society.
The visit ended with both Agencies agreeing to synergize in administering and delivering quality services to members of the Public.
