Stakeholders from the media, popularly referred to as the Fourth Estate of the Realm, have joined the Ogun State Police Command in celebrating the first anniversary of Commissioner of Police, CP Lanre Ogunlowo, PhD, in office, commending his leadership and contributions to security in the state.
CP Ogunlowo, who recently completed one year as Commissioner of Police in Ogun State, has been widely praised for his visionary and strategic leadership, professionalism, and proactive security initiatives, which have significantly strengthened public safety and reinforced peace and stability across the Gateway State.
Since assuming office, the Police Commissioner has implemented intelligence-led policing strategies, enhanced operational efficiency, and strengthened collaboration with other security agencies, traditional institutions, community leaders, and the media. These efforts, stakeholders say, have contributed to the restoration of public confidence in policing and improved the overall security architecture of the state.
Media stakeholders, in a joint message, described CP Ogunlowo’s leadership style as inclusive and responsive, noting that his openness to engagement has fostered improved information sharing and responsible reportage in support of public safety.
The Ogun State Police Command, while celebrating the milestone, reaffirmed its commitment to sustaining the gains recorded under CP Ogunlowo’s leadership and to deepening community partnership in the collective fight against crime.
The Command and its partners expressed optimism that the coming years would witness even greater security achievements under the continued leadership of CP Lanre Ogunlowo.
