The people of Aba in Abia State have expressed appreciation to one of their own; Engr. Enyinnaya Chima Nwafor for rehabilitating a major road junction made impassable by heavy rains in recent weeks.
The continuous rainfall over the last three weeks has hampered many day to day activities of Aba residents and visitors. The rainfall has also made it extremely difficult for both motorists and pedestrians to easily pass through the popular and busy Osisioma Junction.
In the spirit of giving back to the society, the engineer who is noted for his benevolence chose to give a helping hand rather than wait for government to fix 
the bad spots.
By this action, Nwafor has saved road users passing through Osisioma junction from the suffering induced by rain. He has come to reinforce the road for easier access which would indirectly help to increase the revenue generation of residents of the area.
Already, a construction outfit; Tunnel End Construction Company has been mobilized to site and it is expected to expedite action without further delay.
It was gathered that since Engr. Nwafor embarked on this self-imposed humanitarian gesture, road users and residents of the area have offered prayers and poured encomiums on the philanthropist whose generosity and magnanimity is said to be legendary.
He is said to have provided some palliatives to people of his community during Covid-19 pandemic lockdown.
