The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), under the leadership of Acting National Chairman, Abdulrahman Mohammed, has inaugurated a new Board of Trustees (BoT), with Senator Mao Ohuabunwa appointed as Chairman and Honourable Isah Dansidi as Secretary.
The inauguration ceremony took place on Friday, November 7, 2025, at the official residence of the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Barrister Nyesom Wike, in Life Camp, Abuja.
In his remarks, the Acting PDP Chairman described the inauguration as “a significant turning point in the life of the party,” reaffirming the party’s commitment to unity, renewal, and stronger internal governance.
The event was attended by prominent party stakeholders, including the Minister of the FCT, Barr. Ezenwo Nyesom Wike; PDP National Secretary, Senator Samuel Anyanwu; former Governors Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu (Abia) and Samuel Ortom (Benue); former Governor of Old Anambra State, Senator Jim Nwobodo; members of the National Assembly, and members of the newly constituted BoT, among others.
