It was a huge success in crime fighting as police operatives from the Katsina State Command have arrested one Mustapha Wada, 28, of Gwagwarwa, Nassarawa Local Government Area of Kano state for vandalizing a transformer.
The suspect known to be notorious is a member of a syndicate that specialized in vandalizing electricity installations in Katsina, Kano and Yobe states.
Nemesis caught up with Wada as the police said that he was arrested on Tuesday, August 18, 2020 about 04:30hrs, while vandalizing electricity transformer installation at Doro village, Bindawa LGA of Katsina state.
In the course of investigation, SP Gambo Isah, the Police Public Relations Officer further revealed that four armoured cables, one flier, five spanners, one screw driver, 12 pieces of small knives, and a sack were recovered from him.
The suspect is being profiled as investigations are continuing.
