The Commander Armour Corps (CAC), Major General Obinna Ajunwa, hosted the General Officer Commanding (GOC) 3 Division/Commander Operation Safe Haven, Major General Folusho Oyinlola, to brainstorm on strengthening collaboration to tackle insurgency and promote national security.
The senior officers met at the Headquarters Armour Corps Conference Room, Obienu Barracks, Bauchi State, on Tuesday, 25th February, 2026.
Maj Gen Ajunwa emphasized the unwavering commitment of the Nigerian Army Armour Corps to addressing the nation’s security challenges.
He highlighted the readiness of HQ NAAC to collaborate with 3 Division, fostering synergy in line with the Chief of Army Staff’s Command Philosophy, “To Consolidate the Transformation of the Nigerian Army Towards Bequeathing a Well-motivated and Combat-ready Force that can effectively Discharge its constitutional Responsibilities Within a Joint and Multi Agency Environment”.
The GOC 3 Div, expressed his gratitude to the Commander, Armour Corps, for the warm reception extended to him and his team.
Maj Gen Oyinlola emphasized the vital role of the 3 Div in maintaining a secure environment conducive to foster peace and stability, adding that his office is open for collaborations that would benefit the formations and the Nigerian Army as a whole.
