…says they attract robbers
Rapid Response Squad (RRS) of the Lagos State Police Command has admonished motorists to avoid exposing valuable things in their cars, saying such valuables attract traffic robbers and park thieves.
Words of admonition posted on its Facebook wall on Friday, advises motorists to always keep important things in the boot of their cars.
Such items, it was learnt include bags, phones and other items that could caught the eyes of criminals.
“If you must leave something important in your car, put it in your boot before leaving your house or office.
“Some criminals lurk around car parks to watch you transfer valuables from the car to the boot and even look out for valuables in the car while in traffic.
