Founder of Nigeria’s Silent Heroes Awards (SHA) initiative and Editor-in-Chief of Razor Media Company, Mr. Odita Sunday, on Friday, paid a courtesy visit to the management of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) in Abuja.

Mr. Sunday and his team were warmly received by Hajiya Rakiya Bello Umar, Special Assistant to the Director-General of NEMA, and the agency’s spokesperson, Mr. Ezekiel Manzo.

Highlight of the engagement was the formal presentation of Volume 3 of the Compendium, “Nigeria’s Silent Heroes – Men and Women Oiling Nation’s Wheel of Progress”, authored by Mr. Sunday. The publication documents the inspiring contributions of unsung Nigerians who are quietly driving national development across different sectors.

In their remarks, NEMA officials lauded the Silent Heroes initiative for its vision of celebrating ordinary citizens making extraordinary impacts. They noted that such recognition encourages patriotism, service, and nation-building.

They further pledged to strengthen collaboration with the Silent Heroes team in the pursuit of initiatives that highlight humanitarian efforts and promote the collective good of the nation.

Mr. Sunday, in his response, expressed appreciation for the warm reception and commended NEMA for its selfless service in managing emergencies and disasters across the country. He emphasized that agencies like NEMA embody the very spirit of the Silent Heroes philosophy.

The visit ended on a note of mutual commitment to future partnerships that would further project the sacrifices and contributions of unsung Nigerians to national progress.
