SOLUDO CONSTRUCTS MMIATA-ANAM-NZAM ROAD AFTER YEARS OF NEGLECT

As part of efforts to make Anambra the country’s destination brand through modern infrastructural development, Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo, in line with his vision, constructed the 11.9km Mmiata-Anam-Nzam road, which links to the headquarters of Anambra West Local Government Area (LGA).

The completed road is aimed at facilitating easy access within Anambra West, to boost trade and other economic activities in the area.

While inspecting the completed project, Governor Soludo affirmed, “I Promised Ndi Anambra West that if l fail to build that road to your headquarters, that if l ever come back to your local government to campaign or to ask you for anything, that you should stone me,” Governor Soludo stated.

On Anambra Road infrastructure, Soludo affirmed that existing projects will be completed while new ones are being initiated, with approximately 310 kilometers already asphalted in 30 months, and with unparalleled quality.

The Ekwulobia flyover and bus terminal are nearing completion. The dualisation of the 34-kilometre federal highway from Amawbia through Agulu, Ekwulobia, and Uga to the Imo State border, as well as the dualisation of 36 kilometres from Nwagu Agulu-Nnobi- Nnewi, Ozubulu to Okija, linking to the Onitsha-Owerri highway, is a game changer.

Soludo’s administration is speedily redefining governance, blending vision and execution to unlock Anambra State’s vast economic and human potential and repositioning it as a land of infinite opportunities for discerning investors, as highlighted in the recent 2024 Anambra State Investment Summit.
