In a bid to strengthen strategic partnership between the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) and the Ministry of Aviation and Aerospace Development with a view to actualizing the Nigeria International Airshow, the Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), Air Marshal Hasan Abubakar, has paid a working visit to the Honourable Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo (SAN).

The meeting held on Monday, 2nd December, 2024.

During the visit, the CAS highlighted ongoing NAF efforts to support national security objectives, particularly in the aviation sector, while exploring avenues for enhanced synergy with the Ministry.

Also, it was learnt that discussions covered strategies to optimize resources and technology for effective air defence and airspace management.

The Minister commended the NAF’s contributions to national security and emphasized the Ministry’s commitment to strengthening its partnership with the NAF.

He noted that this collaboration is pivotal to advancing Nigeria’s aviation sector and achieving the successful hosting of the Nigeria International Airshow, which will position the country as a key player in global aviation.
