STRENGTHENING INTER-SERVICE TIES: NAVAL ENGINEERING SERVICES LIMITED CEO VISITS NAFRC

STRENGTHENING INTER-SERVICE TIES (1)

The Managing Director/CEO, Naval Engineering Services Limited (NESL), Rear Admiral Baratuaipri Iyalla, on Monday paid a familiarization visit to the Commandant, Armed Forces Resettlement Centre (NAFRC), Oshodi, Air Vice Marshal Bashir Rimi Mamman, to foster collaboration and inter-service cooperation.

While receiving the NESL in his office, Air Vice Marshal Bashir Rimi Mamman observed that the visit would boost collective strengths and synergy among the Armed Forces.

The visit aligns with the Chief of Defence Staff’s Leadership Concept which emphasizes jointness, interagency cooperation, and collaborative excellence.

According to a statement released by Sub-Lt Happiness Collins, potential areas of collaboration include Cooperation, Training and capacity building in engineering, business, and project management.

Others include Education and skills development initiatives for military personnel, and civilians and mutual service offerings and expertise sharing.

In a similar development, Rear Admiral Baratuaipri Iyalla also paid a courtesy visit to the Corps Commander, Nigerian Army Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (CCEME), Major General Baba Umaru Yahaya in his office, Bonny Cantonment, Victoria Island, Lagos.

The high point of the courtesy visit was the exchange of souvenirs.
