The Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) has reassured the world and the entire congregation of the church that despite the unfortunate demise to the glory of the founder, Prophet Temitope Balogun Joshua, on Saturday, June 5, 2021, the work of God must move on unhindered.
In a statement by the church on Tuesday, said in Lagos that “We are currently preparing for the week-long service from 5th to 11th July 2021 in honour of Prophet TB Joshua’s life and legacy.
“It will be broadcast live on Emmanuel TV as he would be laid to rest at The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations (SCOAN) in Lagos, Nigeria.
It added that the specific events within the week that would be open to the public and will be communicated at the appropriate time.
“We want to assure you that nothing will stop the work of God at The SCOAN from moving on. As Prophet TB Joshua says, “When we close our eyes to all things in this world, we shall open them in a world of glory.”
Meanwhile, it was gathered that since the demise of Prophet TB Joshua, the official Facebook page of the ministry has increased by 500,000 followers, making a total of 6.1 million followers.
“More than 1 million online tributes from across the world honour the man who touched every level of society. All across the world, from Bethlehem to Russia to Pakistan, candlelight vigils were held in honour of Prophet T.B. Joshua.
“William Ghattas, in charge of the Church of the Nativity, Bethlehem lit a candle in the historic grotto of the Church of the Nativity, the Birthplace of Jesus Christ to pray for his soul to rest in peace,” SCOAN stated in a statement.
