In order to give the Nigerian Super Eagles massive support against the Black Stars of Ghana as they meet on Tuesday in the return leg feature towards qualifying for Qatar 2022, Federal Civil Servants are expected to close by 1 pm.
In a letter signed by the Permanent Secretary, Service Welfare Office for the Head of Service of the Federation, Dr. Ngozi Onwudiwe, and addressed to all Permanent Secretaries said there is the need to mobilise support for the Nigerian Team.
“Consequently, I am directed to inform you that all offices will be closed at 1.00 pm on Tuesday, 29th March 2022.
This is to support the Super Eagles of Nigeria who will be meeting the Black Stars of Ghana at the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja in continuation of the 2022 FIFA World-Cup Qualifier, Playoff, return Leg match.
It would be recalled that the first leg match was held at the Kumasi Stadium, Ghana last Friday and ended in a scoreless draw.
The winner of the match will automatically qualify for the FIFA World Cup holding later in the year in Qatar.
