The Catholic Archbishop of Abuja, His Grace Most Rev. Dr. Ignatius Kaigama, consecrated a new church building, the Immaculate Conception Parish, Dobi, FCT, Abuja.
The ultra-modern church building commenced in 2019, and it is donated by Nigeria’s foremost female banker and Deputy Managing Director of Zenith Bank, Dame Dr. Adaora Umeoji Nwokoye.
Besides her trail-blazing conquests in the banking world, Dr. Adaora Umeoji Nwokoye is known for her philanthropy and charitable outreach to the poor and the church.
With several years of cognate banking and broad executive management experience, Dr. Nwokoye rose through the ranks to her current position as Deputy Managing Director (DMD) of Zenith Bank.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Jos, an MBA from the University of Calabar, and a Doctorate degree in Business Administration from Apollos University, Great Falls, Montana, USA.
She was trained in strategic thinking and management at Wharton Business School, Pennsylvania, USA, and also holds a certificate in management from Harvard Business School, Boston, USA.
She recently bagged a first-class degree in Law from Baze University, Abuja.
