This historic win marks the team’s biggest margin of victory in a competitive game and propelled them into the quarterfinals.
Led by skipper Sarafadeen Oyeleke, the Special Eagles came out firing on all cylinders, with Michael Jewell stealing the show with an incredible seven-goal haul. Mohammed Garima added three more to the tally, while Bolaji Olaogun chipped in with one goal.
This dominant performance comes on the back of a goalless draw with hosts Egypt in their opening match, and the team is now eyeing a spot at the 2026 Amputee Football World Cup in Morocco.
