ARMED FORCES REMEMBRANCE DAY CELEBRATION: UNIPGC DONATES TO WIDOWS

In gratitude to their selfless commitment to the defence of the territorial integrity of Nigeria, the United Nations International Peace and Governance Council (UNIPGC), has donated palliatives to the widows of fallen heroes in Abuja and in the South South Nigeria.

Making the donation in Abuja, the Global President and Chairman Supreme Council (UNIPGC) Texas, USA, Ambassador Dr Jonathan Ojadah expressed sincere admiration for the strength and dedication demonstrated by the valiant men and women of the Nigerian Armed Forces.

The donation was received by Lieutenant Commander Olaleye on behalf of the Defence Headquarters.

Dr Ojadah paid tribute to the fallen heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.

“As a testament to our gratitude, we proudly present the initiative named “Widows of Fallen Heroes Welfare Outreach” in honour of the Armed Forces Celebration and Remembrance Day 2024,” Dr Ojadah explained.

While making presentations, Ojadah extended UNIPGC’s appreciation to the Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Musa for his invaluable contributions as well as to the Civil-Military Relations department and the Nigeria Defence Headquarters for their support.

The United Nations International Peace and Governance Council (UNIPGC) is an organization devoted to the promotion of Sustainable Peace, Good Governance Advocacy and Poverty Eradication in Africa.
