PALESH KIGALI 2024: DR PRATT, FORMER SIERRA LEONE MINISTER TO FEATURE AS PANELIST

As preparations are on for the 13th Edition of the Pan African Leadership Symposium & Honours (PALESH), the list of distinguished speakers are growing tremendously.

The latest addition to the list of Honourable speakers is the former Sierra Leone Minister of Tourism & Cultural Affairs, Dr. (Mrs.) Memunatu Pratt.

As one of the Panelist to deliver speech at the 13th Edition of PALESH (Kigali 2024), which is scheduled to hold from the 4th – 9th March, 2024 in Park Inn by Radisson, Kigali, Rwanda, Dr Pratt, is expected to deliver a lecture on the topic: “Cultural Diplomacy: A Conceptual Approach Towards Sustainable Peace Through Tourism.”

Dr. Memunatu Pratt, is an Ambassador of the Universal Peace Federation, Former Head of Department of Peace and Conflict Studies, Senior Lecturer & Visiting Professor at Hiroshima University, Fourah Bay College, University of Sierra Leone.

According to the Global President and Chairman of the Supreme Council, United International Peace and Governance Council (UNIPGC), Texas, USA, Ambassador Dr. Jonathan Ojadah reiterated the importance attached to the conference, adding that the Pan African Leadership Symposium & Honors (PALESH) is a confluence of ideas, a gathering of minds, and a celebration of leadership that seeks to make a tangible difference in the Africa.

“It promises to be an enlightening experience for all attendees, contributing to the growth of informed leaders who are equipped to lead Africa towards a more peaceful and prosperous future.”

In addition, Ojadah noted that to the educational component, the symposium will also include the Leadership Excellence and Doctoral Fellowship Award.

“This prestigious accolade conferred by the Chartered Institute of Peace and Governance (CIPG) from Texas, USA is a testament to the commitment and exceptional contributions of individuals in the field of Peace and Governance.

Furthermore, “the involvement of Highstone International University, California, USA, signifies the global importance of the symposium and its recognition beyond the African continent.

Adding that the international dimension underscores the universal relevance of the topics discussed and the shared global interest in fostering leadership that can navigate the complexities of peace and conflict.
