SOUTHERN KADUNA CRISIS: POLICE SMASHES GUN RUNNER

A gun runner identified as Geoffrey Ayuba has been arrested by the police in Kafanchan, Kaduna state. The suspect was nabbed on July 28, 2021, at about 1600hrs after the Divisional Police Officer, Kafanchan acted on tip-off leading to Geoffrey Ayuba, a male, being arrested.

On searching his vehicle, Ayuba of Ang Rimi Kafanchan, one Ak 47 riffle, two packs of pump-action cartridges and a Fulani dress were carefully concealed in the vehicle bonnet.

It was further learnt that investigation is ongoing to unravel the source of the firearms and ammunition.
